Software instructions Briolight

When you first start the interactive system, you are greeted by the main program window.

In this window you can control the launch of effects, as well as their settings.

The main screen menu has the following items:

Generator - allows you to create a set of ten effects that you can compose yourself for a specific direction correction.

Settings - allow you to adjust the screen, calibrate the sensitivity and change the system schedule.

License - opens a window with complete information about the system and its status.

Help - links to the BROIlight homepage of Wikipedia.

Exit - closes the program.

Playlist - Displays a list of selected effects to play.

Library - displays a complete list of all effects.

Filter - allows you to filter the list according to certain criteria.

Start - button to start the sequence of playing the effects of the “Playlist” screen.

Also in the lower left part of the screen there are links to Internet pages where you can find more information about interactive equipment manufactured by BRIOlight.

Playlist - the main space for working with the system, in which you can create a sequence of necessary effects to work with the recipient.

At the time of the first start of the system, the playlist area will be empty, so you need to add effects. You can add effects to a playlist in several ways:

  • Click on the “+” button in the playlist window, from the list that appears select the desired effect.
  • Select the desired effect from the library list.
  • In the “Filter” tab, filter according to the desired criteria and add to the playlist.
  • Use the lesson generator, which will independently select the required set of effects, form in a folder and add to the playlist.

After that, shortcuts for launching effects will appear in the playlist.

Shortcuts

The shortcut is a small button icon to launch the effect. Similarly, if you hover the mouse pointer, additional effect settings will appear in the image:

Gear - settings for the effect, such as complexity, speed, game time and others.

35 (see Fig.) - serial number in the playlist list.

X (cross) - delete the effect from the playlist. At any time, the effect can be reversed in any of the above ways.

V (Tick) - a switch that changes the effect playback mode. If you press and hold the switch for two seconds, it will change its appearance to two parallel yellow vertical stripes that indicate a pause. In this mode, the effect will not start, but the next effect from the list will start instead. This is necessary in order not to lose the effect in the sequence, but also not to remove from the list.

Effect settings (standard and optional)

In the effect settings menu you can select one of three difficulty modes: “Easy”, “Normal”, “Difficult”. It is also possible to change the settings to suit your needs. They may be different for each effect.

Under the “Advanced Settings” tab, there are deeper, more subtle settings for the effect. We recommend that you change them only if you have mastered the basics of managing an interactive system.

If after changes in settings the effect started to work incorrectly - it is necessary to remove it from the playlist and to add it again from the library, it will return all settings to the initial state.

Folders

Folders are needed to structure classes. They will help to create a certain sequence for an individual client.

To add a folder - click on the “+” at the end of the playlist. In the window that appears, select the shortcut with the image of the folder. A new folder will appear at the end of the playlist. To give a specific name to a folder, go to the folder settings (gear on the shortcut) and enter a new folder name in the field.

To add an effect to a folder, click the “+” in the folder and select the effect in the window that appears.

The Library and Filter tabs help you filter and select the effects you want to work with.

Library contains a complete list of effects from which you can select and drag the effect shortcut to the playlist area, which will add the effect to the sequence.

Filter allows you to filter effects according to certain criteria. After selecting the required parameters, click the “Filter” button, after which the effects that fit your requirements will appear in the filter field. To cancel the filter criteria - click the “Cancel” button.

The first page of the generator (Step 1) contains a list of basic recommendations for application. To move to the next step, select one or more required items and click “Step 2”.

On the second page of the generator (Step 2) there is an additional list with clarifications of developmental shortcomings. To shut down the generator, you must also select one or more required items, name the folder where the system will display the results of the generator and click “Create”.

When the generator is finished, the system will return to the main screen. The exercise folder created by the generator will appear at the end of the playlist.

Below the “Settings” tab are an additional set of platform settings:

  • Screen
  • Calibration
  • Sensitivity
  • Schedule

Screen

The screensaver screen settings window allows you to adjust the operation of multiple screens, change the resolution of the output image, enable / disable prompts, and adjust the sound, system language and sensor mode.

Calibration (Interactive Floor)

Note that the appearance of this window may differ depending on the mode in which the interactive system operates.

In the calibration window it is possible to calibrate the camera of the interactive floor system.

When installing interactive equipment, BRIOlight specialists will set the optimal sensor calibration settings, so you don't have to do it yourself.

In case the calibration settings have been changed by the user during operation and the system has started to work incorrectly, the interactive system has an automatic sensor calibration adjustment system. In order for the system to automatically calibrate the sensor, the equipment must be restarted.

If there is a need to adjust the calibration of the sensor, we advise you to contact our specialists, they will make the settings of your equipment online as soon as possible.

Sensitivity

Please note that the appearance of this window may differ depending on the mode in which the interactive system is running.

In this window you can do sensor sensitivity adjustment. In the “Select settings” window there are sets of settings (presets).

Each time the system is started, the sensor excludes objects that may enter the frame to prevent accidental pressing of the screen and incorrect operation of the sensor. However, if you remove the object from the sensor's field of view after the system starts, shutdown conditions may remain. To cancel the shutdown conditions in the lower right corner of the sensor sensitivity adjustment window is the “restore background” button, which allows you to refresh the screen by making changes to the shutdown.

No foreign objects should be in the field of view of the sensor during this operation.

When installing interactive equipment, BRIOlight specialists will set the optimal sensitivity settings of the sensor, so you do not have to do it yourself.

In case the sensitivity settings have been changed by the user during operation and the system has started to work incorrectly, the interactive system has an automatic system for adjusting the sensitivity of the sensor. In order for the system to automatically configure the sensor, the equipment must be restarted.

Schedule

In the work schedule window you have the opportunity to set the start and end time of the system, the days of the schedule. There are several options for setting such schedules. It is also possible to configure remote control via a network cable.

In the license window you can get complete information about the interactive system, such as:

  • Computer specifications.

  • Technical support number.
  • Firmware version of the program.
  • In what mode the system works.
