Interactive platform interface

The main screen

The first time you start the interactive system, you are greeted by the main window. In this window you can control the launch of effects and their settings.

The interface consists of the following items:

“Playlist” - displays a list of selected effects for playback. “Library” - displays a complete list of all effects. “Filter” - allows you to filter the list by certain criteria. “Start” - button to start the sequence of playing the effects of the Playlist screen. Setup menu (on the left side of the screen) - helps to configure the interactive system.

Playlist

The playlist is the main space for working with the system, where you can create sequences of the necessary effects for your work. When you first start the system, the playlist area will be empty, so you need to add effects. There are several ways to add effects to the playlist:

  1. Click the “+” button in the playlist window and select the desired effect.
  2. Select the desired effect from the library list.
  3. In the Filter tab, filter the effects by criteria and drag them to the playlist.
  4. Use the Activity Generator, which will create the required set of effects, create a folder, and add it to the playlist.

After that, shortcuts for launching effects appear in the playlist.

Shortcuts

A shortcut is a button to launch an effect. When you move the mouse pointer over it, additional effect settings appear on the image:

Gear mark - effect settings: difficulty, speed, time, etc. “35” - the sequence number in the playlist. x - delete the effect from the playlist. At any time, you can revert the effect using any of the above methods. Tick - switch that changes the effect's playback mode. If you press and hold the switch for two seconds, it will change to pause mark which indicates a pause. In this mode, the effect will not start, but the next effect in the list will start instead. This is to prevent the effect from being played back in the sequence, but also to prevent it from being deleted from the list.

Effect settings (standard and additional)

In the effect settings menu, you can choose from three difficulty modes: “Easy”, “Normal”, and “Hard”. You can also change the settings to suit your needs. They may differ for each effect.

Under the Additional Settings tab, you can find more detailed settings for the effect. We recommend changing them only when you've mastered the standard ones. If the effect doesn't work correctly after changing the settings, you need to delete it from the playlist and add it again from the library, which will return all the settings to their original state.

Folders

Folders will help you create a specific sequence for an individual client. To create a folder, click the “+“ at the end of the playlist. In the window that appears, select a shortcut with a folder image. To name it, go to the settings (gear mark on the shortcut) and enter a name in the field. To add an effect to a folder, click ”+” in the folder and select an effect.

Library and Filter

The Library and Filter tabs help you filter and select the effects you need for your work. The Library contains a complete list of effects, from which you can drag an effect into the playlist area to add it to your sequence. The filter allows you to filter effects by certain criteria. After selecting the necessary parameters, click the Filter button, and the effects that meet the selected requirements will appear in the filter field. To cancel the filter criteria, click the Cancel button.

Generator

The first page of the generator (Step 1) contains a list of general areas of correction. To move to the next step, select one or more of the required items and click the “Step 2” button.

The Step 2 generator page contains an extended list to help you clarify the development deficiencies. You should select one or more items, name the folder where the system will display the results of the generator, and click the “Create” button.

At the bottom of the screen, there is a field for entering the name of the folder with the generator output. If you do not enter a folder name, it will be named with the current date of creation. When the generator is finished, the system returns to the main screen. The exercise folder generated by the generator appears at the end of the playlist.

System settings menu

Home mark - returns to the main screen. “Generator” - allows you to create a set of effects that will be selected by the system automatically for certain correction needs. “Settings” - allows you to customize the screen, calibrate the sensitivity and change the system's schedule. “License” - opens a window with information about the system and its status. “Help” - links to the main Briolight Wikipedia page. “Exit” - closes the program. Also in the lower left part of the screen are links to websites where you can find more information about Briolight interactive equipment. Let's look at the system settings menu and the license:

If you face any problems during the operation of the equipment, we recommend that you contact the Briolight service centre (contact details on the website: briolight.com).
