Sensory room in Lviv

A sensory room for children with developmental disorders has been opened in Lviv. Lviv Regional Psychoneurological Dispensary was equipped with equipment for almost UAH 500,000.

This was helped by benefactors from Turkey, who bought equipment to place in the sensory room.

Thus, created an environment that promotes the development of all the senses of the child; a powerful tool for expanding the worldview, as well as sensory development, which contributes to children’s rehabilitation.

Now, there is an Interactive floor and panel Bryolight.

“We have created a small paradise where everything unobtrusively makes you forget about fears, helps children overcome negative emotions, increased aggression, hyperactivity, and stimulates the activity of a child with low motivation to learn,” – said in a comment to PravdaTUT Lviv child psychiatrist Lydia Shilych.

Parents notice that the presence of children in such an interactive environment gives positive results.

Assistance is free for children with disabilities.
