Briolight social projects
Briolight has become a technical partner in an important social project.
Spokiy-2 is a project of the NGO Maisternia Dobra (Workshop of Good), supported by the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine. It was established to restore interactive equipment facilities used for inclusion and rehabilitation that were damaged by the unprovoked aggression, and to develop distance-learning materials for staff.
Digital systems improve efficiency, motivate users and help address the trauma of war. Automation is particularly important because more and more children need support, while there are not enough specialists. Not all facilities suffered critical damage: in some cases, relocating or reinstalling equipment or retraining staff can restore corrective and developmental activities without substantial investment.
Spokiy-2 was an opportunity for institutions affected by the unprovoked aggression against Ukraine to receive free repairs and upgrades of their interactive equipment.
The original call invited applications via mdobra.org/spokiy2 by 1 December 2023 for selection of 15 participating facilities. This historical application deadline has passed.
