Tips for Choosing a Location for Your Interactive Equipment

We have prepared some tips for you on choosing the best place to install your Briolight Interactive Floor.

The floor itself is a projection from a projector that is mounted to the ceiling. But for the installation of this equipment, you will have to prepare not only the ceiling. Below we have described all the requirements for the premises, and we recommend that you adhere to this list.

Room

Dry and clean from dust, with free floor space from 1.2 x 1.8 to 2 x 3 meters.

Ceiling height

Recommended 2.8 – 5 m. If there are no such rooms, please provide us with information about the height.

Most often, in a standard room with a height of 2.8 m, the size of the projection on the floor is 2 x 1.5 m. But depending on the height, it can vary from 1.5 x 1 m to 3 x 2 m.

Floor

Matt, uniform light color. For example, gray or beige linoleum. If not, we will mount a white linoleum screen on the floor (included in the price). ⠀

Darkened room

The less light, the brighter the projection. In direct sunlight, it is worth installing curtains or roller shutters on the windows (not included in the price).

Ceiling

Suspended (Armstrong cages, drywall) or concrete. Do not stretch!

The ability to supply power to the ceiling (220 V to 400 W) and the Internet via Wifi or a wired network. A separate circuit breaker and grounding is desirable.

If the voltage is unstable, please report. We can supply stabilizers (paid separately).
